David Herrmann

Herrmann, David (Paks, Tolna, 1823 – Osijek, 1908), merchant and founder of the company S. Weiss and D. Herrmann in Osijek in 1852 and a royal and court supplier.

He lived in the Lower Town and was a Lower Town representative from 1876 to 1886. Married to Netty née Kohn (Budapest, 1838 – Osijek, 24 February 1909). Children: Julijo (1861), Dragutin (1865), Bela (1867), Edmund (1875) and Theresa married Deutsch. From 1874 he was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Crafts in Osijek. He was a respected and esteemed citizen of Osijek. He lived in Gospodarska Street.
