Julijo Krauss

Krauss, Julijo (Osijek, 15 Apr 1878 – Osijek, 4 May 1942), spice merchant and entrepreneur, son of Samuel and Johanna née Borowitz.

He married Antonija née Fuchs (Đakovo, 1885). From 1906 to 1932, he ran the company “Samuel Kraus i sin” in Donji grad with his father Samuel. He then continued to run the company with his brother Maks, but as “Samuel Kraus i sin, agent for technical and radio equipment and office supplies and mechanic shop in Osijek”. He was an active member of the Osijek Jewish religious community Donji grad.
